How many times are you dressed and ready to run out the door only to realize you have no jewelry to match your outfit? Is there a certain color of earrings or a style of necklace that you keep meaning to add to your collection of gems but forget to? I feel your pain. I understand that frustration.
That is exactly why I began designing over 20 years ago. I spent years getting ready for work only to realize I needed a pair of earrings before I could run out the door. Those last minute designs defined the way I approached creating jewelry. Having lived in California my entire life I find myself outdoors in a garden almost any time of the year so it is no surprise that I gravitate to the natural beauty of semi-precious stones, fresh water pearls and the organic properties of lava rock, carved wood and shells. I am drawn to nature and the elegant lines that exist all around us. I strive to create pieces of beauty that will adorn and enhance the natural beauty of the person who wears them.
I always push myself to keep my work fresh and find switching gears in the workshop helps me accomplish just that. Not only do I design with items I collect from all over, I have added torches and tools that allow me to create special element items all of my own.
